Mi año en Comics

Como siempre tarde pero con buenas intenciones, este post es sobre los comics que leí en 2015, leí muchísimos comics en 2015 y espero leer muchos más en 2016. (Tengo un post parecido con los Libros que leí y las Mangas que leí, si pueden lean esos también.)

De acuerdo al siempre confiable Goodreads durante el 2015 leí 23 volúmenes, de los cuales en su mayoría tienen que ver con Batman y no me arrepiento ni un segundo de ello (amo a Batman).

Claro que también leí a otros superhéroes como Ms. Marvel y algunos volúmenes de Grimm Fairy Tales, como puede ver conmigo no existe un patrón real en lo que leer comics se refiere, pero sin hablar de más les muestro mi año en comics.

Comic que más me gusto:

Penguin: Pride and Prejudice

Esto es algo que no me esperaba pero de alguna manera paso, me encanto, fue mi comic favorito del año y hasta ahora uno de los que más me han emocionado, quizás sea porque amo el personaje del Pingüino en Gotham, quizá sea porque era el tipo de historia que necesitaba en ese momento o quizá sea porque tengo un lado suave por las almas corrompidas, sea cual sea la razón ame esta historia.

La historia del Pingüino es triste y deprimente (eso ya lo sabíamos) pero eso no impide que sea intrigante e interesante, los eventos que lo llevaron a ser quien es y las experiencias que lo hicieron inmune a muchas de las atrocidades que comete pero sensible ante personas que considera sufren como el, están bien narradas y descritas en esta historia y el arte como siempre no deja nada que desear. Comic que menos me gusto:

Batman Journey Into Knight

Si me hubieran dicho antes de leer esta historia que habría un comic de Batman que no solo me aburriría sino que me costaría terminar no lo hubiera creído pero he aquí la prueba de que es posible. 

No sé qué fue realmente con esta historia simplemente no funciono para mí, me tomo meses terminarlo y casi no lo hago, no podía involucrarme realmente con ella a pesar de que la historia en si no era mala, incluía cosas intrigantes y que valían la pena, el arte también era interesante pero aun así no pude sentir la emoción que suelo sentir con los comics de Batman ni ese deseo de seguir leyendo aunque sean las 5 de la madrugada y el sol este saliendo.

Este nuevo año estoy interesada en seguir con los new 52, me atrase con ellos y siempre quise leerlos pero todos se conectan entre si lo que me hizo complicado leerlos mientras salían y me frustraba a mas no poder pero ahora que se han terminado y puedo tomarme mi tiempo para no confundirme y organizar mis lecturas es i meta leer todos los relacionados con Batman este año, pero hablare más de ello en un post solo sobre los New 52, tenía pensado hacer una serie de post conforme avance en mi lectura pero eso es historia para otro día.

De entre los comics que más emocionada estoy por leer este año están:

Ms. Marvel Volumen 2 ya que el primero me gustó tanto y me gustaría saber cómo la historia avanza.

The Court of Owls, no dejo de escuchar cosas buenas sobre esta historia y estoy intrigada por saberlo incluso deje en pausa Gotham para leer la historia antes de ver los nuevos episodios que tratan de la corte, es uno de mis retos este año también ya que es parte de los nuevos 52.

Y bueno ese ha sido mi año en comics, un poco más corto y resumido que los anteriores pero simplemente no tenía mucho que decir ya que casi todo es sobre Batman y mi juicio no es el mejor cuando se trata de él.

El Reto de Lectura Rory Gilmore

Sé que llego tarde a este reto de lectura pero nunca me había animado a tomarlo, lo descubrí hace años no recuerdo donde y ahora que me topé con el de nuevo en Black White Read Books y en el blog de The Dauntless Dreamer, quería intentarlo.

Gilmore Girls fue una gran parte de mi adolescencia vi todos los capítulos más de una vez y me identificaba con Rory, su amor por la lectura y su vida cotidiana, es una serie que siempre vivirá en mi corazón y es más que una serie para mí, me enseño muchas cosas y me ayudo con muchas más.

El reto de lectura consiste en leer todos los libros que Rory leyó a lo largo de la serie, los cuales son muchos, entre ellos existen muchos clásicos como Alicia en el País de las Maravillas y El Diario de Anna Frank, la mayoría de libros en esta lista no están siquiera en mi lista TBR la cual es otra de las razones por las que quiero intentarlo, la lista consiste de 339 libros por lo que no me pondré propósitos irreales como leerlos todos durante este año (2016), en dos años o en cinco, simplemente me propondré terminar esta lista algún día y divertirme con ella.

Mi año en Mangas

Es tiempo de hablar de mangas, este año me volví loca leyendo mangas, nunca me había tomado el tiempo de leer un manga y ahora que lo hice me arrepiento de no haber empezado antes, es entretenido, rápido y me encanta.

De acuerdo a mi Goodreads leí 36 este año de los cuales 23 son volúmenes de One Piece y el resto One Shots a excepción de un volumen de Tokyo Ghoul. Leí mucho One Piece este año y no me arrepiento en lo absoluto por que se ha convertido en una de mis cosas favoritas y la única razón por la cual no he continuado leyendo es porque quiero ponerme al día con el anime (el cual había visto capítulos pero nunca me tome el tiempo de verlo completo).

Manga que más me gusto:

Tokyo Ghoul, Sui Ishida

Tokyo Ghoul fue el primer anime que vi completo, me encanta, y fue una de las razones por las que quería tomar interés en mangas, sin embargo no fue el primer manga que leí ya que no estaba segura de cuan diferente era el manga del anime y no estaba lista para comprometerme a largo plazo con un manga (Fatti es manga no matrimonio).

Cuando finalmente decidí empezar a leerlo lo disfrute mucho, ya habían pasado meses desde que termine ambas temporadas del anime, ya estaba más familiarizada con leer mangas y One Piece había cambiado mi perspectiva en Mangas de larga duración.

Fue entretenido, no difería mucho del anime y si es posible hizo que me gustara más el mundo de los Ghouls, mis planes este año incluyen seguir leyendo esta manga y posiblemente terminarlo, Tokyo Ghoul es un mundo que me atrapa y me hace desear vivir en él aunque corra el riesgo de ser atacada por un Ghoul.

PD: Originalmente cuando escribí este apartado me emocione tanto que termine posteándolo en Goodreads pero como mi propósito original era utilizarlo aquí decidí dejarlo.

Manga que menos me gusto:

Kimi wa Tomodachi, Tamura Kotoyu

Los libros que menos me gustan suelen ser los que me aburren por lo que tiene sentido que pase lo mismo con los mangas, este One Shot fue de los primeros que leí y si mal no recuerdo me retraso un poco con mis lecturas, en aquel tiempo me acababan de sacar las muelas de juicio y no podía hacer nada (ni leer pero soy rebelde), solo tiene 34 páginas pero sentí que fueron 100, la historia en si es el típico drama ¿lo amo o no lo amo?, no que eso sea necesariamente malo pero en este caso lo sentí demasiado repetitivo y no me emociono en lo absoluto.

Volumen de One Piece que más me gusto:

One Piece, Volumen 9: Tears, Eiichiro Oda

Hasta ahora uno de mis volúmenes favoritos, como he mencionado antes One Piece es mi nueva obsesión, este volumen en particular me hizo llorar.

Durante este volumen conocemos más a Nami, la navegante de los Straw Hat Pirates, y su pasado, es una historia perfecta para enamorarse más de la manga y llorar, no hace falta ser un fan para enamorarse de esta historia.

Probablemente no estoy siendo imparcial al hablar de One Piece y en algunos años piense en lo que escribí y me dé cuenta de que la parcialidad desbordaba pero por ahora no me arrepiento de nada, que puedo decir amo One Piece.

Siguiendo con la modalidad de mi año en libros hablare un poco de que espero leer en 2016, creo que lo de continuar con los Volúmenes de One Piece ya quedo claro así que intentare no mencionarlo más.

Este año estoy interesada en muchos mangas pero principalmente me gustaría mencionar cuatro en específico, Dengeki Daisy de Kyousuke Motomi, esta historia trata sobre Teru quien recibe mensajes de Daisy, una persona misteriosa que se contacta a través del celular que el hermano fallecido de Teru le regalo, sé que suena extraño si solo nos enfocamos en esas partes de la historia pero tiene buenas reseñas y una gran calificación en GoodReads y simplemente me pico la curiosidad con esta. 

Kimi ni Todoke de Karuho Shiina es otra historia que me llama la atención para este año, nos cuenta la historia de Sawako Kuronuma quien es la “heroína perfecta… para una película de terror” la sinopsis me promete mucho y espero que el manga me cumpla.

Gekkan Shouju Nozaki- Kun fue el segundo anime que termine y la manga me está llamando desde entonces, es una manga larga por lo que al igual que con Tokyo Ghoul me contuve de leerla por un tiempo pero los personajes me encantan y quiero conocerlos más.

Por ultimo Death Note desde hace mucho que quiero leerlo y me rehusó a ver el anime antes de terminar el manga así que será uno de mis retos 2016.
